Former Deputy Chief Minister Dr. T. Rajaiah on Tuesday dismissed the reports that he was planning to contest by-elections to Warangal Lok Sabha seat as Congress candidate.
Speaking to media persons at his residence in Station Ghanpur, Rajaiah described all such reports as baseless and mere speculation by a section of media. He said that there was no truth in reports that he was planning to quit TRS to join the Congress party. He said he would continue to sail with the TRS so as to realise the dream of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of ‘Bangaru Telangana’ (Golden Telangana).
Rajaiah has been maintaining a very low profile since his dismissal from the State Cabinet on January 25 this year. He expressed confidence that KCR will accommodate him on a good position. (INN)
