Hyderabad: Dy. CM and Education Minister of Telangana State, Mr. K. Sri Hari called on Ms. Sumriti Irani, Union Minister for HRD and represented for the establishment of IIM in Telangana.
Talking to newsmen later, Mr. Sri Hari told that with the establishment of IIM in Telangana State, students will get a lot of facilities and new avenues would be generated in the field of Information Technology. He further told that a suitable place in Bhongir Lok Sabha constituency has been suggested for the establishment of IIM. He requested the Union Minister of HRD to sent budget proposals in this regard to Finance Minister, Mr. Arun Jaitely. Ms. Irani assured that she would extend cooperation for the establishment of IIM in Telangana State.
Mr. Sri Hari told that Govt. of Telangana is making an attempt to provide better opportunities in the field of education. Attention is being paid for the development of infrastructure in educational institutions and also to enhance educational standards. Central Govt. should extend all possible help for the overall development of newly formed Telangana State.
