Job Description:
– Electrical Design Engineer with solar expertise design experience with full exposure to the solar cycle
– 40+ executed projects of different types (on grid. Off grid. Hybrid. Less than 50kW. Around 200kW)
– Experienced with Commercial size projects with many various mounting systems
– Candidate should be able to carry out these tasks like :
a. Site survey along with civil technical lead to conduct an appraisal and produce a detailed layout drawing with shading areas, roads, platforms
b. Complete DC design (incl. inverter selection and DC cable calculation)
c . Single wire diagram
d. Bill of Materials (BOM)
e. AC cabinet basic design + check and approval of detailed design by supplier.
– Candidate also familiar with SCADA and / or BMS that would be an additional advantage
– A Solar design engineer who have some field supervision work would also be able to carry these additional tasks and that would be preferable like :
a Structure selection
b/ Detailed drawing with structure, strings and cable trays
c. Exposed to Complete PV cycle from lead to post sales support
d. PVsyst certified
e. Vendors of PV modules must have worked
f. Must have worked on PV systems And their sizes
g. Must have worked in inverter companies
h. Must have worked in mounting systems
i. Must have produced SLD and layout diagrams
j. Have conducted site surveys and Shading analyses
k. Electrical system tracing at site
l. Have conducted on site commissioning
Candidate Profile:
BE Electrical Engineer having 7 to 8 years experience as Electrical Design Engineer with Solar Expertise in a reputed Solar Industry
Salary : Tax free Omani Rial 650 – 800 per month including HRA + medical for self + Annual leave with air fare + Annual Gratuity as per Oman Labour laws
Note :
A. Candidate must be physically ” FTI ”
B. Candidate must possess valid passport with ECNR
C .Must have sufficient clearance in relocating to Oman
D. Incase selected should be in a position to join short notice
E. Candidate having prior Oman / Gulf experience will be preferred
