Hyderabad: In a move to ensure the safety of school children Road Transport authorities have seized about 100 school buses for violating rules, which did not have documents pertaining to the buses, proper permits, fitness certificates from the concerned department and many more other documents.
According to the RR District officer, Praveen Rao Muppala about 10 teams have been deployed that organized special drives at 12 different places seizing 32 school uses for violating the rules.
10 buses were seized for not having proper documents said Srinivas Puppala Medchal DTO whereas 15 buses were seized at Bhuvanagiri according to the Yadadri Bhuvan-agiri District Transport Staff, DC reported.
