Fuzhou, Nov.15 : World number two shuttler Saina Nehwal will today face sixth placed Xuerui Li, the reigning Olympic champion, in the women’s singles final of the China Open Super Series.
The defending champion had yesterday produced a scintillating performance after she recorded a 21-13, 21-18 win over seventh seed Wang Yihan of China in a contest that lasted over 42 minutes in the semi-final.
The ace Indian shuttler has won two tournaments this year- the India Open Super Series and India Grand Prix Gold, but lost the All-England and World Championships final to world number one Carolina Marin of Spain. (ANI)
