The Secunderabad Cantonment Board, which has started a drive to collect the pending taxes by March, has sent a notice to Sasikala to pay tax arrears for the plot no. 16 located in Marredpally, as the house was registered in her name, and tax was not paid for two years, amounting to Rs.35424. According to locals, Sasikala and late Jayaliatha used to stay in the house whenever they were in Hyderabad, and the house was purchased in 1990 along with the property of JJ Gardens farm house near Zeedimetla. It is said that some body was residing in the house on rent earlier, and it was vacant since the last four years. (NSS)
