Jeddah: Prince Nawwaf bin Abdulaziz Al Saud died in Makkah on Tuesday night. Funeral prayer was offered after Esha prayer in Masjid-e-Haram and he was buried in Makkah.
He was born on 16th August 1932 and he was the 22nd son of King Abdul Aziz. He is survived by five sons. He was the brother of Prince Talal. He was appointed Finance Minister of Saudi Arabia in 1961. He took charge of this portfolio from Prince Talal. Later, Prince Nawwaf served as King Faisal’s Special Advisor for Persian Gulf Affairs. He held the position of Saudi Intelligence Chief from 2001-05.
