The Supreme Court on Friday served a notice to the Telangana State government when farmers from Andhra Pradesh State approached the Court alleging that the Telangana government was constructing Palamuru and Dindi projects illegally.
The Andhra farmers further alleged that the two projects were totally against their interests. While hearing the case, the Supreme Court directed the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States to submit counters within four weeks. The Court posted the case to July 20 and made it clear that it will hear final arguments on the same day. (NSS)
