Indore, April 11: A 30-year-old scientist at Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT) has allegedly committed suicide, leaving behind a note that he was “mentally tortured by his senior”, police said today.
Tirumala Prasad Tenka, a bachelor, was found hanging at his house in Rajendra Nagar locality last night, City Superintendent of Police Girish Subhedar said.
He was a scientist at RRCAT of Department of Atomic Energy for last five years.
Tenka, hailing from Andra Pradesh, has alleged in his suicide note that he was mentally tortured by his senior officer. He has also held his senior responsible behind his taking the extreme step, Subhedar said.
