The iconic Taj Mahal Hotel in Secunderabad, which has been serving its patrons since October 1947 across generations, will close for expansion and renovation from February 6.
The refurbished, new look Taj Mahal Hotel will have two restaurants, well-appointed rooms and banquet facilities on the same premises, eventually catering to over 1,000 persons at a time, along with 30,000 sft parking area. The renovated Taj Mahal Hotel is expected to open around Ugadi/Shivaratri next year.
The Management is simultaneously opening a new Taj Mahal Hotel at Malkajgiri for which the present staff of Secunderabad Taj Mahal would be relocated. The hotel coming up at Malkajgiri would have two restaurants, banquet facilities for 500 persons and rooms. The hotel at Malkajgiri is expected to open by March 2017.
The management expressed its apologies to patrons for any inconvenience caused in this regard. (NSS)
