Security guard found murdered


Faridabad: A 60-year-old security guard was today found murdered with injury marks on his head in a godown on Mathura road here, police said.

Kishanlal was found murdered this morning in the scrap godown by the owner’s brother-in-law who reached there after being informed by a tea seller that the guard was still asleep while the gate of the godown was open, they said.

Prima facie the guard was killed by unidentified persons with sharp-edges weapon, police said.

A case has been registered in the matter and a probe is underway, they added.

In a separate incident, 30-year-old Mahesh Rajmistri was yesterday beaten to death allegedly by two persons who suspected him to be a thief in old Faridabad here, police said.

The duo — Rikki and Rajeshwari — thrashed Mahesh to death when he entered their house, they said, adding the accused have been booked in connection with the matter.
