Selfie craze affects the sanctity of Holy Kabah


Riyadh: Muslims all over the world reach Makkah to perform Umrah or Hajj in Kabah but the recent craze for taking selfies is affecting the sanctity of Holy Shrine. It may be mentioned that while praying in Holy Kabah, complete silence and peace of mind should be maintained.

The pilgrims also visit Masjid-e-Nabavi in Madinah where Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) is buried. It is necessary at this place also to maintain the sanctity.

The advancement of technology has increased the craze of the people to take selfies even when they are offering prayers at Holy places. This has become an epidemic.
