Separation rates are lowest among Muslims in India

Hyderabad: Convenor Tafheem-e-Shariah Committee for Women and Secretary of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani said separation rates are the lowest among Muslims compared to other communities in India. On the other hand separation is very common among Hindus, Christians and other communities on trivial matters. In this backdrop, wicked forces are trying to defame Muslims while attempting to carry out changes in Muslim Personal Law just to take political advantage out of it. Maulana told this while addressing a seminar ‘’Muslim Personal Law and Current Issues’ here at Madina Educational Centre, Nampally, opposite Public Garden, Hyderabad. The seminar was organised by Muslim Women Intellectual Forum. He urged ladies to create awareness among other women.
