Seven Muslims in West Bengal ministry

Kolkata : Seven Muslims name figure in he list  West Bengal ministry headed by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee which was formed on Friday.

Firhad Hakim, Javed Khan and Abdur Razzak Mollah were given cabinet rank While Siddiqullah Chowdhury was sworn as Ministers of State with Independent Charge and Giasuddin Mollah,Gholam Rabbani and Zakir Hossain were made Ministers of State.

Below are the names and portfolios of the Muslim ministers in newly formed Mamta’s ministry.

1-Firhad Hakim – Urban Development and Municipal Affairs

2-Javed Khan – Disaster Management and Civil Defence

3-Abdur Razzak Mollah – Food Procurement and Horticulture

4-Siddiqullah Chowdhury – Mass Education,  and Parliamentary Affairs

5-Giasuddin Mollah – Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education

6-Gholam Rabbani – Tourism

7-Zakir Hossain – Labour
