We shall continue sharing intelligence with US says Theresa May

London: Since reports are out alleging Donald Trump sharing classified information with Russian Diplomats during a meeting, putting national security at risk and damaging its relations with American and other allied intelligence agencies, now British Prime Minister Theresa May responds saying to it saying it is US President Trump’s decision to share classified information with whom he chooses.

As the news came as a sudden shock to nations sharing intelligence with the US, Theresa May in a press conference held in London says “Decisions about what President Trump discusses with anybody that he has in the White House is a matter for President Trump”.

“We continue to work with the United States and we continue to share intelligence with the United States, as we do with others around the world.”

She said the Relationship with The US “is the most important defense and security relationship that we have around the world”.

“We have confidence in that relationship between us and the United States, that it helps to keep us all safer.”

With the recent reports surfacing about a plot involving laptops on airplanes being revealed by Trump by Washington post, Trump seems to jeopardize national security at risk.

“We are all working together to deal with the threats that we face, the key threat of course being the threat of terrorism,” both from IS and Al-Qaeda, May said.

“Working with the United States and others to deal with that terrorist threat is an important part of maintaining our national security and we will continue to do so”, as reported in NDTV.
