Shibani Kashyap feels artists need to keep `signature sound` alive

New Delhi, Sept 22: Bollywood playback singer Shibani Kashyap was recently spotted in the national capital where she discussed how independent music is making its space in Bollywood.

When asked whether it is becoming difficult for Bollywood singers to survive due to tough competition from indie music, the 36-year-old songstress told ANI, ” Bollywood music has a worldwide recognition and that’s how I earned her fame. Films are a huge platform for any artist however, at the same time artists need to keep their signature sound alive.”

Shibani, who now regularly sings for Pakistani TV serials, also said that she loves Coke Studio Pakistan and would love to collaborate with singer Arif Lohar for the same.

Talking about MTv Coke Studio, she said that she might soon be collaborating with singer Rabbi Shergill.

Shibani landed in Delhi to visit a new store of designer collection wear Parampara where she also dished out her personal fashion statement.
