“Shut the 4 AM Azaan” – Tarek Fateh on Sonu Nigam’s ‘Azaan on loudspeaker’ issue

Mumbai:  Bollywood Singer, Sonu Nigam’s tweets triggered another controversy. After his recent tweets on the use of loudspeakers at religious places, he comes under attack from various sections of society. Even Bollywood is divided on this issue. Mixed reactions are seen on the social media with few supporting him and many others opposing his tweets.

Now, coming out in support of Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam’s twitter rant against ‘azaan’, controversial television personality, Tarek Fatah tweeted, “U r spot on @SonuNigam. Thank God there is at least 1 person in India who has the courage to stare down mullah bullying. Shut the 4AM Azaan”

It is to be mentioned that Sonu Nigam earlier tweeted, “God bless everyone. I’m not a Muslim and I have to be woken up by the Azaan in the morning. When will this forced religiousness end in India”
