Srihari favours varsities modernization


Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari today vowed to modernize all varsities in Telangana to get modern facilities of e-library, wi-fi, internet services and making online the services being provided.

Addressing a high level meeting with vice chancellors and officials at TSCHE here, he expressed displeasure at varsities for deprival of all facilities. Stating that bio metric facility on line will be provided to varsities and their affiliated colleges, he asked the officials to make documentation of the assets and lands. For two decades no appointments were taken up and research activities and varsities neither have buildings, facilities, he deplored. The Government will provide funds and offer support to strengthen the varsities Srihari asserted. (NSS)
