State govt. to fill up 2,000 vacancies in health and medical department

Hyderabad: The Telangana government has given green signal to fill up 2,000 vacant posts in the health sector to provide better medical services to the people. It is said that no written test or interview will be held for filling up the posts but the candidates will be selected on the basis of merit and age.

Government has already issued GO for recruitment on 2248 posts. Measures will be taken in this connection after Haritha Haram programme. 349 posts of Medical Education, 1179 posts of Family Welfare, 509 posts of Vaidya Vidhana Parishad will be filled up by Telangana Public Service Commission within 60 days.
