Hyderabad: Waqf Board chairman Mohammed Saleem revealed that the second meeting of the Board will be held on April 8.
Times of India reported that the meeting has been scheduled, to review the functioning of the board, asses the work of standing counsels and check the status of various cases which are being heard in different courts of law, he said.
Issues like review of rents, protection of important Waqf institutions and land parcels endowed to them will also be discussed during the meeting.
This would be the first meeting of Waqf Board after the former chief executive officer Mohammed Asadullah was relieved from the post.
