The State-level Coordinator for Oil Industry in Telanagna and Andhra Pradesh has been Awarded “Best Performance Award in Domestic & Transport Sectors” in Oil & Gas Conservation in India for the awareness activities conducted during the “Oil & Gas Conservation Fortnight (OGCF) 2015”.
State level Coordinator CH Srinivas received the award from Union Minister of State (IC) for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan at the inaugural function of the “Oil & Gas Conservation Fortnight 2016” held in New Delhi on January 16. The Petroleum Conservation Research Association, under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, selected Telangana & AP for the award amongst the Big States. The Award was given for exceptional support and cooperation extended by the State Government for various conservation activities organized by the State Level Coordinator during OGCF 2015. The Govt of Telangana and AP received “Best Overall Performance Award” in the past for 2013 & 2014 and the awards were received by Commissioner of Civil Supplies for erstwhile AP. Consecutively, this is 3rd time the Award for State Level Coordinator for Oil Industry in Telangana & AP. (NSS)
