Telangana TDP Mahila Wing president Bandru Shobharani has welcomed the decision of the TRS government to shelve proposal of introduce cheap liquor in the State.
In a statement here on Thursday, Shobharani also demanded that the TRS government withdraw the proposal to open a bar for 13,000 population under GHMC area. “It is a women’s victory as there was a strong criticism of from all sections of people, including different women’s associations, who vehemently opposed the cheap liquor policy”. She also thanked those who extended their support in opposing the TRS government’s cheap liquor policy. (NSS)
