Telangana Budget 2017-18: Govt allocate Rs 30 cr for journalists welfare

HYDERABAD: Journalists led by Telangana State Press Academy Chairman Allam Narayana have thanked Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao for allocating Rs. 30 crore for the journalists’ welfare in the budget.

The journalists met the Chief Minister in Pragathi Bhavan and thanked him.

The minister and MLAs from Karimnagar also met the Chief Minister and thanked him for allocating Rs. 1.93 Crore to develop Maner River Front under Maner Dam on the lines of Sabarmati River Front in Ahmedabad.

The total proposed budget is Rs. 506 crore.

Dr. K.V. Ramanachary, IAS (Retd.), Chairman and Vanam Jwala Narasimha Rao, Vice-Chairman of the Telangana Brahmin Samkshema Parishad have conveyed their heartfelt thanks to the Chief Minister and Minister for Finance Etela Rajender for allocating Rs. 100.00 crores to the Telangana Brahmin Samkshema Parishad, in the budget for the financial year 2017-18.
