Muzaffarnagar: Ten persons were arrested today for allegedly attacking a police team yesterday in the Khala Par locality here.
According to Circle Officer(CO) Tejbir Singh, the police began a search operation and arrested ten of the accused.
Earlier, a police team which had come to arrest three persons accused of cow slaughter was attacked by a mob.
The mob had also freed the three accused.
Four police men were injured in the stone pelting by the mob and a vehicle was damaged. Following the incident, security was bolstered in the area.
