TRS flays Oppn jibe on Eamcet 2

TRS MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy today slammed the Opposition for its baseless allegations that some of the ministers were involved in the Eamcet-2 leakage scam.

Addressing the media at Telangana Bhavan here on Sunday, Rajeswhar Reddy condemned the comments and asserted that ministers have no relations with Magnetic Info Tech company with regard to the Eamcet-2 or paper leakage. He also alleged that the Opposition leaders were indulging in false propaganda to confuse the parents and the students in this regard. “Ministers concerned will not resign for the Eamcet-2 leakage”, he clarified. The MLC said the Magnetic Info Tech company has been supplying papers for the Eamcet since 2012 and the Opposition cannot make allegations in a vague manner. The government will take serious measures against the scamsters and punish them, he said. The students should not get panicked as the State government was for their welfare and doing justice to them, Rajeshwar Reddy said. As per the law, steps will be taken to bring the culprits to justice, he said.

Another MLA B Venkateshwarlu accused the Opposition of trying to malign the image of the government. Soon after the leakage information, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao ordered an inquiry to bring facts to light, he said. He took exception to the Opposition for making a hue and cry against the appointment of Vice Chancellors. KCR was taking steps against corruption in the State, he said and alleged that the Congress could not digest the appointment of BCs as VCs. (NSS)
