TRS Govt harassed opposition to win Warangal by-polls: Revanth Reddy

Telangana TDP Working President A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday alleged that the TRS misued official machinery and harassed opposition parties to win Warangal by-elections.

Speaking to media person here, Revanth Reddy alleged the TRS did not allow the opposition parties to campaign properly. He said several opposition leaders were terrorised using goons and police. Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao himself gave statements threatening to stop welfare schemes in case of negative result. He said people of Warangal were also lured with new promises. However, he said that the TDP accepts the final verdict of people of Warangal.

Revanth Reddy said that the Chief Minister should now work hard to justify the mandate given by the people in by-elections. (INN)
