TRS not facing any contest in Warangal by-polls: Kavitha

MP kavitha]

Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha on Thursday claimed that the TRS was not facing any contest in Warangal by-elections and its candidate P. Dayakar would win with a thumping majority.

Speaking to media persons, Kavitha ridiculed BJP’s claim that one more minister from Telangana would be inducted into the Union Cabinet if BJP candidate Dr. Devaiah wins the Warangal by-elections. She asked Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatraya to explain on the quantum of funds which he brought for the State from Centre. She also alleged that Telangana was discriminated by the Centre in funding the houses for poor.

Kavitha said that the victory of TRS candidate would strengthen the party in the Lok Sabha while the people of Telangana would not gain anything if Congress wins. She said that the TRS Government has fulfilled many promises during the last 16 months in power. (INN)
