TRS plenary on April 21: KCR to fill party posts soon

TRS supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today took a decision to conduct party plenary at Kompally in Medchal district on April 21.

During a meeting with MLAs, MLCs and MPs of the party at Pragathi Bhavan, the Chief Minister disclosed about plenary, which will elect its president as a formality. He discussed on the plenary arrangements, public meeting scheduled to be held at Warangal on April 27 while party membership is to be completed by April 5.

The party supremo is said to have asked his party leaders to take membership drive seriously  and offered to form district and mandal level committees by April 15. KCR offered to discuss on party posts in a couple of days and make use of services of ministers, senior leaders and MLAs. He also asked the leaders to focus on to bring people from districts to public meeting in Warangal.

KCR is learnt to have asked the leaders to collect money by working as coolies for the public meeting. He also tried to allay fears among MLAs and MLCs and asked them to be with people and resolve their issues. It may be said here that KCR conducted a survey on performance of the legislators and found that some were not working properly. (NSS)
