Hyderabad: Health Minister Dr. K. Lakshma Reddy said that the Telangana Government was planning to establish the Directorate of Nursing in the State.
In his written reply to a question raised by BJP floor leader Dr. K. Lakshman in Legislative Assembly on Tuesday, the minister about 702 posts of Staff Nurses were vacant and they would be filled up shortly. He said a policy decision has been taken by the government to regularise the services of the contract employees. Necessary particulars of contract Nurses have been called for from concerned for taking necessary action.
The minister denied having any proposal to open Government Nursing College in each district. (INN)
