Twinkle Khanna insults Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on Twitter, faced the wrath

New Delhi: Twinkle Khanna is known for tongue in cheek remarks and funny columns. But this time Mrs. Funnybones’ trademark humour found her caught in a Twitter feud with Art of Living followers.

He made news, recently, for suggesting that perhaps Malala Yousafzai, the young Pakistani Nobel Peace Prize winner who stood up for a girl’s right to study and was shot at by the Taliban, did not deserve the award.

Bollywood actress Twinkle Khanna faced the wrath of furious supporters of Art of Living for her recent tweet on Sri Ravi shankar’s controversial comment that Malala did not deserve the Nobel Prize.

It all started on Saturday when Twinkle comes in support of Malala and tweeted against Sri Sri’s controversial remark on the latter. “Sri Sri got his Nobel foot and half his beard stuck in his mouth in a yogic pose,” she reportedly tweeted.

She later apologised to the Art of Living members after being accused of hurting their religious sentiments. She wrote, “Didn’t mean to hurt anyone’s feelings was meant to be a joke and am old enough to accept an error of judgement on my part.”He replied, “Error of Judgement or Fear of #BoycottHousefull3. Anyway Being Old & Being wise is different thing.”

To this the AOL International Director replied:“@mrsfunnybones my tweet was in respond to your tweet which has hurt my sentiments. I appreciate that you have gracefully deleted it and @mrsfunnybones it happens when sentiments are hurt. No Hard feeling. Sorry if you r hurt.”
