Hingoli : A court here today awarded death sentence to two men for raping and killing a four-year- old girl last year.
The court of Additional District and Sessions Court judge M P Diwte convicted Bhagwat Prabati Kshirsagar and Satish Baban Kshirsagar and awarded them the capital punishment.
Police had arrested Bhagwat and Satish, both residents of Waranga village in the district, for the rape and murder of the girl who lived in a neighbouring house on January 7, 2016.
A total of 25 witnesses were examined in the case, said public prosecutor Dyaneshwar Teknoor.
