Hyderabad (Telangana) : Traffic Police in Hyderabad has seized the Porsche of the son of Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Y.S. Chowdary in a case of rash driving.
“Yesterday, we had information that some people were indulging in rash driving. We came to know that these people are indulging in rash driving mainly on weekends,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), L.S Chowhan told ANI.
“So, we placed two teams and during the course, we have caught hold of 14 people. We have booked cases under Section185 of the Motor Vehicle Act. They will be released after paying fines. Yesterday, Union Minister Y.S. Chowdary’s son Kartik was also booked under the same act. His vehicle was seized,” he added.
A little over a week ago, Chowdary was served with a non-bailable warrant by a court in Hyderabad for non-payment of a loan. (ANI)
