Hyderabad: The need of the hour for the Muslims and Muslim organizations is to get united. Anti-Muslim forces are making an attempt to shatter the unity of Muslims by indulging the Muslims in to sectarian differences. This was told by the former Ameer of Jamat-e-Islami of A.P. and Odisha, Maulana Khaja Arifuddin at a quarterly meeting of Jamat-e-Islami held yesterday. He further told that only by maintaining tolerance, the progress of the country could be ensured but RSS and other Hindu outfits are disturbing the peaceful atmosphere of the country by presenting improper demands.
Maulana Mahboob Shareef Nizami, Maulana Ilyas Khan also addressed the gathering. Present on this occasion were Maulana Hamid Mohammed Khan, Ameer of Jamat-e-Islami of Telangana and Odisha, Mr. Mohammed Azharuddin, Dr. Mohammed Khalid Mubashiruzafar, Hafiz Rishaduddin, Mr. Sultan Mohiuddin, Maulana Abdul Basith Anwar and others.
Continuing his address, Maulana Arifuddin told that so long as Muslims do not eradicate the misunderstandings of other persons, they have to face such difficulties. There is a need for the Muslims to make other people know the genuineness of Islam.
Maulana Ilyas Khan told that so long as the character of the husband is not good, the prosperous family could not be constituted. In his address, he quoted Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) that he did not like cruelty against women. In the same manner, it is the responsibility of women to impart Islamic training to their children by practicing Islamic tenets by themselves. He further told that if the mother is following Islamic principles, the awareness of Islam among her children would get enhanced. He advised Muslim women to recite the Quran and to keep their children engaged in household activates. Wife has a responsibility to protect her chastity and also to protect the belongings of her husband. He further told that anti-Muslim forces are misleading Muslim women. It is therefore necessary to protect Islamic Sharia. If we follow Islamic Sharia, there won’t be any need to struggle for the protection of Islamic laws.
Maulana Mahboob Shareef Nizami told that so long as the Muslims do not get their faiths strong, they cannot become powerful. He advised the Muslims to observe forgiveness.
At the beginning of the meeting, Ameer of Jamat-e-Islami, Hyderabad City, Hafiz Rishaduddin welcomed the gathering. Mr. Sultan Mohiuddin proposed vote of thanks. Jamat-e-Islami has decided to conduct quarterly meetings for the promotion of Islamic teachings and also to create awareness among the Muslims.
