About Karvy Solar
Karvy Solar is a new age Solar power company aiming to provide one stop solution under one roof. We are setting up a 20 MW solar power project at Sadashivpet, Telangana and are taking steps to be a serious player in the Industry. The company has plans to develop three verticals Build & Operate, EPC and Consulting. Over the next few years, Karvy Solar aims to be a serious player in the Construction, consulting and Operations & management of Solar Power projects
Key responsibilities
Verification of Bills (Purchases, Contractors RA Bills & Admn bills) with reference to Income Tax, Service Tax and VAT Laws.
Ledger posting in accounting software (Cash, Bank and Journal entries).
Bank Reconciliation.
Ledger Scrutiny.
Reconciliation with group companies ledgers.
Reviewing the Material reconciliation, Quantity reconciliation, Comparison of Client Vs Subcontractor certified quantity, Material rate comparisons and shortfalls to be identified and escalated to the management.
Maintaining the Fixed Assets register and calculation of Depreciation as per the Income Tax provisions & Company law.
Preparation of MIS Reports to Management.
Co-ordination with planning, Stores, QC and HR departments.
Attended to the company external meetings.
Assist in Statutory & Internal audits.
Assist in ROC filling with Company Secretary.
Preparation of monthly provisional Balance Sheets.
Follow up with Bank Guarantees, Insurances.
Taxation:
Maintenance of all Statutory Records i.e., Direct & Indirect Taxes (TDS, Service Tax, Sales Tax, and VAT) payments, return filling and issuing the Forms.
Assists with the auditors in IT, VAT & Service tax Assessments.
Qualification & Experience
CA(Inter)/ ICWA(Inter) + 2 yrs exp or
M.Com/B.Com/ M.B.A(Finance) with 5 yrs in the Infrastructure Industry preferably in Solar
Exposure to Tally software is must
