Victoria`s Secret under fire for `cheeky` photoshop job

Melbourne: Victoria’s Secret has always made headlines for its dreamy-figured models, but this time its ‘Truly. Madly. Cheeky’ lingerie ad has made people angry for allegedly airbrushing the already thin model’s curves away.

Criticising comments like, “Horrible, horrible photoshopping. Completely unnecessary, Victoria’s Secret. Wishing you would learn from Aerie. Yes another reason I (along with MANY others) will never shop from you guys … Times are changing; it’s time you guys caught up. #NotBuyingIt,” by social media users flooded the comment box of the picture, reports News.com.au.

Even model Molly Fletcher has criticised the ad by saying that she laughed when she saw the picture for the first time as retouching has gone too far this time.

Defending the brand, Craig Lawrence, President of ONE.1Management, said that the picture does not look retouched as the girl does not look too thin and this is what the brand is about making fantasies. (ANI)
