Video: Crane Carrying A -320 aircraft crashes at Hyderabad Begumpet Airport

A major accident was miraculously averted on the Old Airport Road in Begumpet on Sunday.

According to the information, an A-320 aircraft of Air India, which was displayed in the recent Air Show, fell on the road after hitting a railing while it was being shifted to a training center with help of a crane. As the aircraft remained idle after the Air Show, the officials concerned deployed a huge crane in the early morning to shift it to a training center. As the aircraft was too heavy to move easily, the workers on the job lost control resulting in the aircraft falling on the road after hitting a railing.

The Airport authorities said none was injured in the accident. (NSS)
