Objection to illicit relations of husband led to the death of wife. The incident occurred under Pahadi Shareef police station limits where 20-year-old, Rizwana Begum consumed poison and committed suicide.
Rizwana Begum was the wife of Abdur Raheem Quraishi R/O New Baba Nagar. The couple married 8 years ago. According to police sources, Rizwana Begum learnt that her husband had illicit relations with a woman. The couple had frequent quarrels on the issue.
The other day also they had an altercation following which the wife took the extreme step. Police is investigating the case.
