A man set his wife ablaze at Alwal in Cyberabad area. The appalling incident occurred last week. The woman succumbed to burns yesterday night. According to Alwal police, Asiya Begum (26) was allegedly set ablaze by her husband.
Asiya Begum married to Mahboob, 8 years ago. Mahboob a labour by occupation fought with his wife in inebriated condition. As usual the couple had a row on June 5. The husband allegedly poured kerosene over his wife and set her ablaze. The seriously burned Asiya Begum succumbed to burns on yesterday night.
