WiFi Facility Introduced in City AC Buses

Good news for the commuters of the City AC buses in Hyderabad. The commuters could avail Wi-Fi facility from November 23 onwards.

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) introduced Wi-Fi facility in AC buses for half an hour. TSRTC Chairman Somarapu Sathyanaryana, MD Ramanarao launched Wi-Fi facility on Wednesday.

 

Speaking on the occasion, they said that the commuters can use Wi-Fi facility for first 20 minutes freely and they have to pay charges for the next half an hour. Somarapu said that the Wi-Fi facility would be introduced in all buses in phased manner. He said that in the first phase they introduced Wi-Fi facility in 115 AC buses.

Somarapu also revealed that the TSRTC was getting Rs.60 lakh revenue loss everyday with the demonetisation of big notes. The commuters were not utilising the services of the RTC due to demonetisation affect. (NSS)
