Won’t embarrass my party, says ‘matured’ Shotgun

Patna, Oct. 28 : Disgruntled BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha on Wednesday said that he never intended to embarrass his party and added that he had misunderstandings with the state leadership.

“I have tried to show them the mirror. As far as the prices of the dal are concerned, I never intend to embarrass my party. Why would I do that I am a matured person? I was saying this because still there are some phases left in the elections and the prices of the pulses must be controlled because we have already cried the tears of onions,” Sinha told the reporters here.

The actor-politician showered praise on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and described him to be dynamic, dashing and charming.

“He is the supreme leader and I respect him. And as far as some misunderstandings are concerned, they are between the leaders of Bihar and me. This doesn’t involve any Central Minister,” he said.

The Patna Sahib MP further said that he was against the negative politics.

“I had said this in Delhi too and I say this again that we have a lot of positivity, development plans, and moreover we have vision. The party should tell the people how we would reconstruct Bihar,” he added.

The Patna Sahib MP, who was once a star campaigner for the BJP, had earlier in a series of tweets said that he preferred to stay out of the election campaigns this time because of the insecure local leaders.

“My party workers, friends, supporters and well-wishers wonder why I am not seen on the campaign trail….I assure them it is not by choice, been kept out thanks to insecure local leaders who we know very well..who have fed matter of convenience stories to the party leaders,” Sinha tweeted.

“Not a question of Bihari vs Bahari..but of how your own Bihari (Babu) has been treated by own people for no fault,” he added. (ANI)
