Hyderabad: Students of Osmania University have decided to organize a one day hunger strike on 4th December to highlight the problems the students of various universities are facing. Main among them is the appointment of full-fledged vice chancellors in nine universities of Telangana.
The students also demanded for the recruitment of teaching and no-teaching staff.
It may be noted that the students of Osmania University have a long record of history in Telangana agitation. The people of Telangana did not forget OU Students but the Govt. of T.S. did.
State Congress party extended its full support to hunger strike.
Addressing the gathering of O.U. students, Mr. Jagga Reddy demanded the TS Govt. to fill all the teaching and non-teaching staff vacancies.
