Economic Affairs Committee of Union Cabinet has sanctioned the scheme for the establishment of 75 new medical colleges in the country.
It is expected that all these colleges will start functioning till the academic year 2021-2024.
With the establishment of these new medical colleges, there will be 15 thousand more seats in medical colleges in the entire country.
These new medical colleges will be started at places where no medical college exists.
