New Delhi: After brutal violence at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), there is an apprehension that miscreant may create ruckus in the protest which is taking place at Shaheen Bagh.
In order to avoid any untoward incident, volunteers frisked the people coming late in the night at the Shaheen Bagh protest. They appeal to people not to get angry over the measure and said that it was for their safety and to strengthen their protest.
It may be mentioned that the protest at Shaheen Bagh area of south Delhi which is going for three weeks has been peaceful.
Brutal violence at JNU
On Sunday night, several masked individuals thrashed students, including girls and teachers inside the JNU campus with wooden and metal rods.
In the attack, many got injured. After the attack, students of many universities took out rallies to show solidarity with JNU students.
