Hyderabad: Former minister and senior Congress leader DK Aruna on Monday alleged that the TRS clinched power by adopting llegal means and bulldozing all rules of the Election Commission. Addressing mediapersons here today, Aruna exhorted the people to vote for Congress candidates as that party conceded separate Telangana State, which once perceived as impossible by many leaders in the State. She said fulfillment of the promises made by the Centre at the time of bifurcation of the State could become a reality only when the Congress formed government at the Centre. Raising the controversial issue of EVM tampering, Aruna wondered as to why the Election Commission was not inclined to hold elections with ballot papers when so many countries in the world were following the same.

She said she would not only discharge her duties with dedication and commitment, but would also work hard to ensure victory of the party in the Lok Sabha elections.
