Deoria: Ex-MP Atiq Ahmed suddenly fell ill at district jail in the intervening night of December 29 and 30. He fell unconscious all of a sudden. District administration conducted his ECG. A team of doctors of CMS district hospital took the ECG machine to the jail where the ECG was done.
In such condition, Atiq Ahmed could not give his statement to the district magistrate and SP during the raid.
During the raid, cashews, raisins, almonds were found in Atiq Ahmed’s room.
