New Delhi: A B.Ed. guide published by Rajhans publication and Thakur Publication contains provocative matter against Islam and Muslims. The book clearly says religious education must be stopped in the madrasas. Declaring Muslims as terrorists it says the religion spreads terrorism through jihad. The book states that Muslims should understand that they are the descendants of Hindus.
As reported by the Inquilab, answering the question no 21 on page no 22, the guide states that the followers of all religions should be given equal opportunities in all the schools and colleges, and religious education should not be imparted in madrasas. Advocating teaching of religious tolerance, the book accuses Muslims of spreading terrorism in the entire world in the form of jihad. The book contains other controversial statements as well.
The B.Ed guide published by Thakur publications also includes similar matter against Islam and Muslims.
When contacted the authorities of Rajhans publications told that it was done by mistake and they picked up the matter from Thakur Publications. They rendered an apology and promised to take back all the books from the market and they also assured that they will publish an apology.
