Kolkata: The West Bengal Assembly on Friday will debate a resolution tabled by the Left Front legislators on the National Register of Citizens in Assam.
The LF legislators had tabled the resolution under the rule 185 of Rules of Procedures of Business of the House.
The Congress lawmakers backed the Left Front and sought a discussion on the matter. Later, the business advisory committee fixed Friday for the debate, in which Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is also likely to take part.
