BJP hits out at Asaduddin for remarks on Veer Sawarkar

Hyderabad: Krishna Sagar, BJP state chief spokesperson, today hit out at MIM leader  Asaduddin Owaisi, saying he was not aware of the history of India and it’s freedom struggle. Asad and his brother should go back to school. He is oblivious of the exemplary contribution and sacrifices of Veer Sawarkar. No wonder, he denounces this great freedom fighter,  he said

Krishna Sagar said Asaduddin has inherited a banned militant outfit called MIM from erstwhile Nizam’s Hyderabad State. His thoughts seem to be still militant when he compares Veer Sawarkar with Nathuram Godse. It highlights not just ignorance but plain disregard for historic facts. Asad is driven only by his hatred towards Hindutva ideology, which Veer Sawarkar proposed and lived by throughout his life,  he asserted

Veer Sawarkar was cleared of all charges by courts for lack of any evidence of Gandhi assassination conspiracy, which he was framed into by then Congress government,  he said. Ideological bankruptcy of Congress party and it’s the current state of desperation is driving its leaders to malign a great freedom fighter like Veer Sawarkar, a national leader who fought the  British since his school days,  he said.

BJP hails Veer Sawarkar for his invaluable contribution to the Indian freedom struggle and his massive contribution to national integration. BJP stands by its demand for awarding him Bharat Ratna, which will be an honor for the nation, Sagar said.
