BJP, RSS ideology behind mob lynching in India: Digvijay Singh

Bhopal: Targeting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), former Madhya Pradesh CM and senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh questioned the mindset of the BJP, citing the case of BJP MLA Akash Vijayvargiya beating a municipal official with a bat.

Talking to the press in Indore, Digvijay said, the BJP and the RSS are witnessing a growing mentality. Citing two reasons for mob lynching the Congress leader said, firstly, people do not get timely justice, which leads to resentment and leads to such incidents. The second reason is the mindset of the BJP and the RSS, he said.

News Track Live quoted Digvijay Singh as saying, “Look at the Akash Vijayvargiya, Akash said that we are taught to apply first, then submit and finally give. That is the mindset of the BJP and the RSS.” He was referring to the case of Akash Vijayvargiya who had beaten Dhirendra Bias, a municipal officer with a bat, on June 26.
