Hyderabad: At 14:31 hrs a mail received from sairamkaleru@live.com to RGIACUSTOMERSUPPORT@gmrgroup.in the message received was – I WANT TO BLAST BOMB IN AIRPORT TOMORROW
The telephonic call about the information was received to SOCC at around 1821 hrs from AOCC. Immediately the BTAC was convened which was attended by the officials of CISF, Telangana Police, RD/BCAS, GHIAL Management, Terminal Manager etc. After detail discussion, the mail was declared as Non-specific.
Further, a police complaint was lodged for further investigation on the threat. Cyber Police is trying to trace the mailer.
Effective Anti sabotage check of the entire area is being conducted. All the precautionary measures are being adopted to thwart any untoward incidents.
Clarification
There is no threat to shamshabad airport ….a complaint is lodged that some email is received ..we are trying to trace the original sender of email.
